About the Project

Two-and-Half Hours of Oxygen is a temporary group show taking place in 7 K6 Red Telephone Boxes in Birmingham, UK on March 19, 11.30am-2.00pm.

The 7 artistic interventions will explore what the private space of a telephone box means in a time of very public communication.

Does anyone use phone boxes any more? Are they needed?

Are there words that can’t be spoken anywhere but within the steel and glass walls of a phone box?
